While I can take credit for the name, I can’t take any credit for this recipe. It’s definitely another that has been requested over and over. These just come out so chewy and delicious, and you can actually bake many different kinds of cookies in a muffin tin for a similar result.

INGREDIENTS

12 tablespoons butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

2 egg

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 teaspoon almond extract

3 cups Southern Biscuit flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup M&M candies

rainbow sugar sprinkles

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 350F degrees.

In a small bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In a medium-large bowl, with an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and both extracts and mix until well blended. Slowly add the flour mixture and mix just until combined.

Grease a muffin tin and dollop the cookie dough no higher than halfway in each. Decorate with M&M candies and rainbow sugar.

Bake for 10-11 minutes until puffy and sides are golden. Remove pan from oven and let cookies cool completely on a cooling rack.
